The Eckermann Group commenced operations in South Australia in 1976.

It began with the formation of its first business, Eckermann Conveyancers (previously Eckermann Steinert Conveyancers). Eckermann Conveyancers quickly earned a reputation in the industry for offering something different with respect to client service experience.

Going that extra step in terms of ensuring that the client experience is beyond that normally expected, formed the foundation for the success of the original business and now extends throughout the Eckermann Group.

Today the Eckermann Group proudly consists of Eckermann Lawyers, Eckermann Forms  and Eckermann Conveyancers.

File Manager/Registered Conveyancer, Eckermann Conveyancers, North East Adelaide

The role: 
We are seeking an enthusiastic File Manager/Registered Conveyancer to join the team in our North East Office in Gilles Plains. Reporting to the Team Leader, you will be responsible for end to end file management across a diverse range of conveyancing matters. Your role will include, but not limited to:

  • File management: from instruction up to settlement;
  • Acting as key point of contact for client and referrers;
  • Interrogating data to ensure documents are completed accurately and prepared to the required standards;
  • Drafting standard and complex documentation, correspondence and statements relating to different interests in land;
  • Reviewing contracts and ensuring all special conditions are fulfilled prior to settlement;
  • Acting for purchaser, vendor or both, ensuring efficient file management for all parties and optimum outcomes in all conveyancing matters;
  • Liaising with clients, government departments, financial institutions and other third parties;
  • Invoicing and account management

To be successful you will have:

  • At least 2-3 years conveyancing experience in a similar role;
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal capabilities;
  • Proven ability to work with integrity, exercise sound judgment and provide real solutions and quality outcomes for customers;
  • Exceptional time management skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines with a high level of attention to detail in a busy office environment;
  • The ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively as part of a team;
  • A proactive and energetic approach to your work with excellent customer service skills;
  • Strong skills in MS Office applications and be IT savvy.

Ideally you will have completed, or are currently undertaking, the Associate Diploma in Conveyancing.

Digital Marketing Coordinator, Eckermann Group

The role:

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will be responsible for the coordination and implementation of innovative digital marketing and communication strategies to build brand awareness and support new business and client retention across the Eckermann Group. Your duties will include, but not limited to:

  • Assisting the Leadership Team in researching and developing marketing and communication strategies;
  • Coordinating and implementing digital and print marketing campaigns and services including design, copywriting, internal and external customer liaison and production;
  • Managing the content across company websites and social media platforms;
  • Continuous improvement of websites to improve user experience;
  • Reporting and analysis of marketing activity, website and social media traffic;
  • Ensuring adherence to brand guidelines across websites, digital platforms and printed materials

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or previous experience in a similar role, ideally within the professional services sector;
  • A background in content management, creative writing, website and social media content development and management;
  • Expertise in the use and analysis of social media platforms including, but not limited to, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube and Instagram;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • A proactive, energetic and innovative approach to your work.

Creativity and enthusiasm, together with your outstanding attention to detail and organisational and time management skills will see you succeed.

Proficiency in MS Office applications and strong computer skills is essential.
